Twitter users, on the other hand, were not pleased by Arshad’s comedy. “As much as I like you as an artist, I think making light of a war scenario is a tad callous, sir,” one person remarked. “I don’t believe it’s the right moment for a meme!” “There are people’s lives on the line,” stated another.

In the early hours of Thursday, Russia started a military campaign against Ukraine. In a surprise televised speech, Russian President Vladimir Putin made the news.

Putin accused the United States and its allies of rejecting Russia’s demands that Ukraine is barred from joining NATO and provide Moscow with security assurances. He stated that Russia does not seek to invade Ukraine, but rather to ‘demilitarise’ it. Explosions were heard in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Odesa shortly after his speech. Russia claimed to have attacked military sites.

Meanwhile, Arshad is preparing for the release of ‘Bachchhan Paandey’, which stars Akshay Kumar in the title role. Farhad Samji directs the film, which also stars Kriti Sanon, Pankaj Tripathi, Sanjay Mishra, and Jacqueline Fernandez. It will be released in theatres on March 18.

Arshad will also appear in ‘Golmaal 5’ with Ajay, Tusshar, Shreyas Talpade, and Kunal Kemmu. While director Rohit Shetty previously announced that the picture will be made, he also stated that it would take time to begin production.
