Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag has turned 43 today
on October 20. He is one of the most explosive opening batsmen Indian cricket
team has ever had.

Sehwag was born on October 20, 1978 in Najafgarh, Delhi. He
made his test debut on November 3, 2021 and played his first ODI on April 1,
1999 against Pakistan. He played for Delhi in domestic cricket. Sehwag played
for Delhi Daredevils and King XI Punjab in IPL. He married Arti Ahlawat in 2004
and has two sons Aryavir and Vedant.

In his 13 years long international cricket career, Sehwag
played 104 tests, 251 ODIs, 19 T20Is and 104 IPL matches.  In test matches he scored 8,586 runs with 23
centuries, six double centuries which is highest by any Indian batsman. He is
the only batsman to score two triple hundreds in test matches  In One Day Internationals (ODIs), he scored 8,273
runs and 15 centuries and one double century.

He is also known as “Nawab of Najafgarh” and “Sultan of
Multan.”
