The
Congress party on Saturday released their list of star campaigners for the first phase
of the forthcoming Bihar assembly elections.

The list includes
UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, former Congress president Rahul Gandhi, former Prime
Minister Manmohan Singh.

Prominent leaders like Priyanka Gandhi Vadra,
Ghulam Nabi Azad, Ashok Gehlot, Captain Amarinder Singh, Bhupesh Bhagel and
Shatrughan Sinha among others are also among the list of star campaigners.

The
announcement comes days after the Congress released their first list of 21
candidates for the first phase of the crucial elections on Wednesday.

The Bihar
Assembly elections will be held in three phases on October 28, November 3 and
7, and the counting of votes will take place on November 10.

As part of
the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD)-led grand alliance, the Congress will be
contesting on 70 seats.
