His%20wife%20and%20son%20are%20already%20in%20Patna%2C%20and%20his%20son%20Luv%20is%20making%20his%20electoral%20debut%20on%20a%20Congress%20ticket%20from%20Bankipur%20seat.%20The%20seat%20is%20a%20part%20of%20the%20Patna%20sahib%20Lok%20Sabha%20constituency%20and%20is%20considered%20to%20be%20a%20BJP%20stronghold.%20Luv%20Sinha%20is%20pitted%20against%20three-time%20BJP%20legislator%20Nitin%20Navin.%20%u201CIt%27s%20good%20for%20Luv%2C%20let%20him%20fight%20and%20earn%20his%20spurs%22%20says%20Shatrughan%20Sinha.%20There%20is%20an%20added%20edge%20to%20the%20contest%20this%20time%2C%20Patna%20Sahib%20was%20considered%20Shatrughan%20Sinha%u2019s%20pocket%20borough%20till%20he%20lost%20the%20seat%20to%20Union%20Minister%20Ravi%20Shankar%20Prasad%20in%20the%202019%20Lok%20Sabha%20elections.%20They%20are%20hoping%20to%20wrest%20back%20control%20this%20time.

For%20Luv%20Sinha%20this%20is%20his%20first%20electoral%20battle%2C%20but%20Shatrughan%20Sinha%20is%20a%20battle-hardened%20veteran.%20He%20was%20amongst%20the%20first%20few%20cine%20artists%20to%20have%20dabbled%20in%20politics%20and%20has%20stayed%20the%20course.%20He%20spent%20a%20considerable%20amount%20of%20time%20in%20the%20BJP%2C%20%22It%20was%20my%20first%20political%20family%2C%22%20he%20says%2C%20till%20he%20made%20the%20switch%20to%20the%20Congress%20party%20in%202019.%20He%20has%20always%20worn%20his%20linkages%20with%20Bihar%20on%20his%20sleeve%2C%u201D%20Bihar%20is%20both%20my%20strength%20and%20my%20weakness%20I%u2019m%20very%20proud%20of%20my%20roots%2C%u201D%20he%20says.

Shatrughan%20Sinha%20believes%20Bihar%20is%20ripe%20for%20a%20change%20.%20%u201CThe%20people%20are%20now%20ready%2C%20unemployment%2C%20the%20callous%20treatment%20of%20the%20migrants%2C%20none%20of%20the%20promises%20have%20been%20fulfilled%2C%20there%20is%20tremendous%20anger%20amongst%20the%20people%2C%22%20he%20says.%20Shatrughan%20Sinha%20believes%20that%20the%20breaking%20away%20of%20Chirag%20Paswan%20from%20the%20NDA%20and%20the%20language%20that%20has%20been%20used%20to%20run%20him%20down%20is%20likely%20to%20boomerang%20on%20the%20NDA.%20%u201CI%20am%20horrified%20at%20the%20severity%20of%20the%20language%20being%20used%20even%20before%20the%20embers%20of%20his%20fathers%20pyre%20have%20died%20down%2C%20this%20is%20against%20the%20culture%20of%20Bihar%20and%20our%20country%2C%u201D%20says%20the%20former%20union%20minister.

The%20Lok%20Janshakti%20Party%2C%20whose%20chief%20%3Ca%20target%3D%22_blank%22%20rel%3D%22noopener%20noreferrer%22%20href%3D%22https%3A//opoyi.com/ram-vilas-paswan-humble-and-grounded-till-the-very-end%22%3ERam%20Vilas%20Paswan%20died%20earlier%20this%20month%3C/a%3E%2C%20and%20the%20party%20is%20now%20led%20by%20his%20son%20Chirag%2C%20has%20now%20broken%20away%20from%20the%20ruling%20NDA%20and%20is%20targeting%20the%20Janata%20Dal%20%28United%29%20and%20Nitish%20Kumar%20in%20particular.%20Though%20the%20LJP%u2019s%20support%20base%20is%20limited%20largely%20to%20the%20Paswan%20community%20hence%20it%20may%20not%20be%20in%20a%20position%20to%20win%20a%20large%20number%20of%20seats%2C%20it%20does%20have%20the%20potential%20of%20cutting%20into%20the%20votes%20of%20the%20NDA%20in%20the%20constituencies%20that%20it%20is%20contesting%20thereby%20reducing%20the%20chances%20of%20the%20ruling%20combine%20candidates.
