Bharatiya
Janata Party’s Jibesh Kumar has won the Jale seat in the 2020 Bihar elections, defeating
Congress candidate Maskoor Ahmad Usmani. The seat, which went to polls on
November 7 in the phase 3 of the Bihar Assembly polls, one of Bihar’s 243 assembly
constituencies, falls under the Madhubani Lok Sabha constituency.

The
assembly constituency is currently held by Bhartiya Janata Party MLA Jibesh
Kumar who defeated Rishi Mishra of the Janata Dal (United) in 2015.

The Jale Assembly constituency is an unreserved seat. Prior to the 2015
