Two weeks after actor turned politician Urmila Matondkar and celebrity interior designer Sussanne Khan’s social media accounts were hacked, Farah Khan and Vikrant Massey raised complaints about the same. Choreographer-director Khan and actor Massey on Monday said that the security of their social media accounts– Twitter and Instagram– had been compromised, a PTI report stated.

It was Farah Khan, who first raised the issue, warning her followers and fans to be careful while engaging in any activity on her account.

“My Twitter account has been hacked as of last evening. Please do not click or reply if you get any message from it as it maybe used to hack into your account too…” she wrote in a photo message shared on Instagram.

According to PTI reports, the Om Shanti Om director said that while both her social media handles were hacked, her Instagram page was reinstated thanks to her husband, director Shirish Kunder.

“This is true! My Instagram was also hacked and many DMs could have gone from it. Pls be vigilant. I’ve managed to restore Instagram thanks to computer engineer @shirishkunder. Hoping to get Twitter reinstated too,” the filmmaker wrote in the caption of the post.

Mirzapur actor Massey shared the update on his Instagram Story and urged people to ignore any messages they may have received from his account.

“My Facebook and Instagram accounts have been hacked. Please ignore any DM’s or comments coming in. We’re working on it,” he wrote.

On December 21, the Mumbai Cyber Cell filed an FIR against an unidentified person in the case. Sussanne Khan had also raised similar issues pertaining to the hacking of her Instagram account last week.
