Indian actor Radhika Apte, who starred in the critically acclaimed movie ‘Andhadhun’ and starred in three Netflix productions ‘Lust Stories’, ‘Sacred Games’, and ‘Ghoul’, turned 35 on Monday.

The actor, who rose to prominence with her roles in movies like ‘Hunterr’, ‘Badlapur’, and ‘Legend’, was described as Bollywood’s go-to girl by online portal mid-day.com.

The actor started her career in theater and secured her first lead in the Bengali movie ‘Antaheen’ in 2009. American news portal HuffPost in 2015 wrote, “Radhika Apte is on her way to stardom, whether she likes it or not.”

The actor has since starred in movies movies like ‘Pad Man’, ‘Andhadhun’, and has also won the Emmy in 2018 and the Star Screen Awards.

Apte was nominated for the 47th International Emmy in the Best Actress category for her role in Netflix’s Lust Stories in 2018. The actor also won the ‘GQ Women of the Year’ award in 2018.

The Fergusson college graduate rose to prominence with her Hindi movie ‘Shor’ in the City.

Apte also made her directorial debut with ‘The Sleepwalkers’ in 2020.
