The Bombay High Court on Friday will pronounce the judgement in Shah Rukh Khan‘s son Aryan Khan bail pertaining to the Narcotics Control Bureau’s (NCB) drug on cruise case. The actor’s son was granted bail by the court on Thursday after 25 days of judicial custody and is currently lodged in Arthur.

Friday’s judgement will shed light on the operative order on the conditions imposed while granting bail to Aryan Khan, who will walk out of Arthur Jail after the judgement. The legal team of the 23-year-old Aryan Khan will now try to complete the formalities for his release by Friday or Saturday, Hindustan Times reported.

Along with Aryan, his friend Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha, co-accused in the case, were also granted bail.

Aryan Khan’s lawyers then sought permission to submit cash bail but the court refused it and said surety is to be given. Hearing on their bail applications started on Tuesday.

“Bombay High Court has granted bail to Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha after hearing the arguments for three days. The detailed order will be given tomorrow. Hopefully, they will come out of jail by tomorrow or Saturday,” said senior lawyer Mukul Rohatgi, who represented Aryan Khan in the case.

In course of the hearing, Mukul Rohatgi argued that there was “no case of possession of drugs” against Aryan Khan and that he was arrested wrongly and “it was a fit case for bail”.

Aryan Khan, 23, has spent nearly 25 days in the Arthur Road Jail in judicial custody. Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha were arrested in the drugs-on-cruise case after the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) raided a luxury cruise liner off Mumbai coast on October 3.

On October 8, Khan was sent to judicial custody. A few days ago, a special NDPS court denied him bail after which he decided to approach the high court. A total of 20 people, including two Nigerian nationals, have been arrested in the case so far.
