With the Test series wrapped up, India and England are bracing for a high-octane Twenty20 International series, starting on March 12. Expectations for the series are high as both sides are set to
feature new faces who will be eager to prove their mettle. India, on one hand, have bolstered their squad with the addition of Suryakumar Yadav, Rahul Tewatia and
Ishan Kishan. Wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant, too, made a comeback to the
squad after a good performance in the Test series.

Yadav and Kishan both performed quite well in the Indian Premier
League (IPL) last year. The former was called up the national side the same day
he hit a 173-run innings for Jharkhand in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

In the pace bowling department, India might have a slight
edge with the return of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who would be coming back to the team
for the first time since 2019.

In what might become a turning point for the series later
on, pacer Jasprit Bumrah has not been included in the team and is currently
being rested after back-to-back Test series appearences.

Among the spinners, Test series-hit Axar Patel will be joined
by Varun Chakravarthy and Yuzvendra Chahal. Interestingly, Kuldeep Yadav is not
part of the squad.

The 19-man squad will be captained by Virat Kohli.
