Chennai
Super Kings (CSK) may not have had a good run during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season but it does have something to
celebrate. Chennai Super Kings batter Devon Conway is getting married
and had his pre-wedding bash with his teammates. The team shared a video
of the revelry, in which the players and staff dressed up in their best
traditional Indian attire.

Conway
was dressed in an off-white shirt and ‘mundu’ the traditional South Indian garb and
Watson was clad in beautiful yellow-green saree. Conway and his fiancee are
seen in the video exchanging a few words before head coach Stephen Fleming
delivers his speech.

Conway
is also seen cutting a cake, which his teammates promptly smear all over his
face. MS Dhoni and Dwayne Bravo were seen shaking a leg to vibrant music as well.

CSK
acquired Conway for a base price of Rs 1 crore, in the IPL 2022
mega auction in February. He made his debut against Kolkata Knight Riders
(KKR) in the season opener but was knocked out for just three runs.

The
batsman was then replaced by Moeen Ali, after the England all-rounder
became available.

IPL
2022 witnessed CSK getting off to a shaky start to the season, losing
their first four matches. They won their opening match of the season against
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) but unfortunately, were defeated by
Gujarat Titans in their second match. And then they beat Mumbai Indians
(MI) adding another victory to their name.

Currently,
Chennai Super Kings, with 4 points, stands second-last in the Points Table, with Mumbai Indians
in the last position (0 points). Super Giants stand is the current leading team in the IPL 2022, with 12 points.

The
team is set to face Punjab Kings on Monday (April 25).
