Chhibramau assembly constituency in Uttar Pradesh (UP) will see Vijay Kumar of the Indian National Congress (INC) take on Archana Pandey of the BJP, Arvind Yadav

of the Samajwadi Party (SP), Waheeda Bano/Juhi Sultan of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Dr Chandra Kant Yadav of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the 2022 Assembly elections.

Archana Pandey had won the seat in 2017 Assembly elections, defeating runner-up Tahir Husain Siddiqui of the BSP by a margin of 37,224 votes.

The Assembly constituency falls under Kannauj Lok sabha constituency. In 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP’s Subrat Pathak won the Lok Sabha (MP) Seat with a margin of 12,353 votes by beating Dimple Yadav from SP.

The Chhibramau assembly constituency voted in the third phase of the UP Assembly elections in 2022 on February 20, when 59 assembly seats, spread across 16 districts, will go to the polls. UP is voting in seven phases, and the last phase will be held on March 3.

Results will be declared on March 10, along with results of elections being held in other states and Union Territories (UTs).
