Prime Minister Narendra Modi has turned 70 on Thursday and
Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut took to her Twitter account to send him
birthday greetings. In a video message, the 33-year-old said that the
country loves him very much and added that no PM has got so much love and
respect before.

“Respected Prime Minister wish you a very happy birthday. I
have never had the chance to speak to you, since we always met twice or thrice
for photo-ops. The country loves you very much,” she said in a video message.

The actress also shared that “the way you are treated
unfairly, I don’t think anyone else has experienced that before.”

“…but you know that is just a propaganda. What the common
Indian feels for you, I don’t think so much respect, love has been ever
showered on a PM before. So I just want to say that those crores of Indians,
who are not on social media, who may not be able to reach out to you, they are all
praying for your long life and we are all very fortunate to have you as our
PM,” said Kangana

The actress sent the message from  her hometown Manali. She has recently
returned from Mumbai, amid a verbal war with the ruling Shiv Sena
government following her comments about the city, comparing it to Pakistan
occupied Kashmir.

Bollywood actress turned BJP MP Hema Malini too expressed
her “warm birthday greetings” to the Prime Minister of India.

“Warm birthday greetings to the founder & most popular
leader of New & Self-reliant India, the PradhanSevak of the country &
our guardian in public life Shri Narendra Modi Ji. May the Almighty bless you
@narendramodi with good health & long life in the service of Bharat
MataFolded hands,” she tweeted.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will celebrate his  birthday with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) observing their customary week-long ‘Seva Saptah’ (service week) from September 14 to 20.
