Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone brought “red” to the red carpet on Day 3 of the 75th Cannes Film Festival.
Since the start of the festival, Padukone has shown up in a variety of fashion ensembles, from breezy looks and power suits to bedazzled sarees and haute couture dresses.
On the third day, the 36-year-old walked the red carpet, sporting a custom dress by Louis Vuitton, the French luxury fashion house she is the House Ambassador for.
Uploading glimpses of the elegant look on Instagram, Padukone tagged Louis Vuitton and the brand’s creative director, Nicolas Ghesquière. She also tagged Cartier, for the jeweled necklace she paired with the dress.
The seven images feature the ‘Padmaavat’ star in a strappy red gown with a plunging neckline. Styled by Shaleena Nathani, Padukone can be seen wearing bright red lipstick and bronze eye makeup. Wearing her hair up in a tousled ponytail, the actor is seen striking poses on a deck, with the French Riviera’s azure-colored waters in the background.
