The Delhi Metro resumed its service on Monday after 169 days hiatus due to the outbreak of COVID-19. Metro services, however, will not be available in containment zones and stations in such areas will remain closed. The Delhi Metro, as per the guidelines of ‘Unlock 4’ started its services in a graded manner with metros plying on the Yellow line between Huda City Center and Samaypur Badli on Monday.

Metro services in Delhi-NCR have been in abeyance since March 22.
The graded resumption of metro services began on Monday.
Sansitiser dispensers have been installed at all stations.
Commuters will have to sit on alternate seats and must maintain social distancing.
Only smart card users will be allowed to travel.
