Soon after Shah Rukh Khan’s 24-year-old son Aryan decided to head to a cruise ship party, everything went up in flames. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) caught loads of drugs, and arrested Aryan soon after. Although Aryan wasn’t found with any drugs, the 24-year-old University of Southern California graduate remained under custody. After spending nearly three weeks in jail and getting his bail plea rejected, Aryan was finally released from the NCB shackles on October 28. Many from the film fraternity supported Aryan and his family, including actors Juhi Chawla and Hrithik Roshan.
2. Taapsee Pannu and Anurag Kashyap IT raids
Back in March, the Income Tax department of India raided the properties of both the Bollywood biggies. After days of tumultuous raids, Taapsee finally broke her silence and shared her experience on the social media platform, Twitter. She shed 3 pointers on the 3-day long raid. In one, she wrote about the raid trying to find the keys of an alleged bungalow she is said to own in Paris, France. In the second pointer, she talked about an alleged 5 crore receipt, and in the third one, she wrote, “my memory of the 2013 raid that happened with me according to our honourable finance minister.”

Raj Kundra, a Britain based businessman and husband of Shilpa Shetty, quickly got infamous after his arrest due to having connection with a porn racket. Accused for producing pornographic content on various platforms, Kundra’s arrest led to a storm that also captured his wife Shilpa Shetty, who was then promoting her comeback film, Hungama 2. The Dhadkan star remained silent for a while, but eventually released a statement asking for people to respect her privacy. Kundra was finally released on bail back in September.
4. Kareena Kapoor’s son, Jehangir
As soon as the actor announced the name of her newborn son, many ridiculed and criticised the choice of name. Some thought that it was based on the Mughal Emperor Jehangir, but Kareena quickly bashed the assumptions by clarifying that it was just a good name that her family liked. She further added that she won’t let trolls get the best of her.
5. Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya’s divorce
The Tollywood duo announced their split earlier this year through a statement released on Instagram. Soon after their split, many rumours began to arise including, cheating, abortions, and affairs. Samantha took to her Instagram handle to clear the air, and bashed all the rumours, while stating that it is a difficult time for her.
