A car was moving ahead on road when the actor honked at the vehicle to get the way cleared for them, to which the drunk men gave the actor and her husband tough looks and stopped their car mid-way. The actor overtook the car and moved away.

The accused then started following them.

“My husband took a detour because we didn’t want them to know we live nearby. We didn’t see anyone following us after we took the detour, but their car came behind us the moment we reached our society gate.” TOI quoted the actor as saying.

The
actor further told TOI that the accused attempted to threaten them at the
society gate and followed her into the society, abused and almost bulldozed into
their house.

“That’s when we called the police. Two PCR vans came and the men were taken into custody.”

The actor revealed that she came to Delhi to visit her husband’s family and the incident left her family traumatized.

“We cannot let this go, those men could have done anything. I am talking about this so that no one has to go through what we did” she added.
