Actor-model Evelyn Sharma posted another picture of breastfeeding her daughter, Ava Bhindi, on Instagram on Tuesday.

Responding to critics and trolls, the 35-year-old described in the caption the challenges that breastfeeding entails and why it’s important to talk about it. “If you’re wondering why I post photos of me breastfeeding, it’s because it’s my whole life right now. It’s a full-time job with a lot of extra hours and sleepless nights. But your payment is a happy and healthy baby which is all you want as a mommy. I don’t exclusively breastfeed though. My baby girl needs a little top up once in a while and mommy a hot bath while daddy takes over!”

The ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ actor has been mercilessly trolled in the past for posting these pictures, with comments like “What about the baby’s privacy?” or “Feed your infant in private!”

In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Sharma said, “Such photographs show both vulnerability and strength. I think it’s lovely. Breastfeeding is one of the healthiest and most natural things you can do for your child. It’s also the reason women develop breasts in the first place. So, what’s the harm in being open about it? ” Evelyn also said, “Breastfeeding is considerably more difficult than most people believe. It’s physically and mentally draining to be a new mother, especially when you’re doing cluster feeds. I told my tale to show other mothers that they aren’t alone in their struggles.”
