Putting
an end to several speculations regarding her re-entry in politics, ousted
AIADMK leader V K Sasikala on Monday said that she will be involved in active
politics for party workers, reports PTI.

The
leader was released from jail last month after completing a 4 year prison term
in relation with a corruption case.

In one of her first statements after being discharged from a hospital in the Bengaluru, the former AIADMK leader said that she was indebted to
the people of Tamil Nadu and will not be cowed down by opression.

“I
am bound by love, to the Tamil ethos and the principles I have embarked upon.
But I can never be enslaved by oppression,” she told her loyalists,” said Sasikala.

The Tamil Nadu leader, however, refused to comment on
being asked if she would visit the AIADMK party headquarters in Chennai saying “please wait and see.”

On the reports of AIADMK leaders filing police complaint against the former party politician, Sasikala responded by saying that the move presents their apprehension.

Commenting on the closing of late Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa’s memorial in Chennai for maintenance, Sasikala, who was bilieved to be her her close aide said “the people of Tamil Nadu know very well
what all this means.”

The expelled AIADMK leader returned to Tamil Nadu to a warm welcome last week where she was greeted by her followers with the showering of flower petals and her followers dancing to drum beats as Sasikala entered into Tamil Nadu at Athipalli in Krishnagiri district bordering Karnataka.
