Australian cricketer David Warner is well-known for his witty social media posts and ever since the outbreak of coronavirus, the Australian cricketer has kept his fans updated and entertained with his social media messages.

In his most recent post, the cricketer posted an animated snapshot of himself and his wife Candice, along with a message in Telugu, saying “I love you.”

Given that his Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise SunRisers is based in Hyderabad, where Telugu is the most widely spoken language, the terminology employed is expected.

His followers reacted positively to the message, with his wife responding with heart-shaped emojis.

“What’s meaning of it @davidwarner31,” Rashid Khan, Warner’s SRH teammate, wrote in the comment section with laughing emojis.

“As if you are that tall,” another Australian cricketer Harry Conway quipped.

Warner was in India lately for IPL 2021, which was delayed indefinitely in the middle of the season owing to an increase of COVID-19 cases amongst staff and players.

Michael Hussey, Lakshmipathy Balaji, Wriddhiman Saha, Sandeep Warrier, and Varun Chakaravarthy were among the players, who were victims of the virus.

The Australian was also relieved of his leadership by SRH in favour of Kane Williamson after a dismal season.

In seven games, Hyderabad only managed to win one. On a personal level, Warner scored only 193 runs in six games and finished 18th in the Orange Cap standings.

Warner is now in Australia, having arrived on May 17 from the Maldives. He’s in the middle of his two-week hotel quarantine.
