As farmers gear up to
hold the Republic Day tractor rally parade, the interstate buses and local
buses will not be operational from Anand Vihar ISBT from 6 am to 6 pm on
January 26, 2021. Interstate buses plying from there will instead run from
Sarai Kale Khan, Delhi Transport Infrastructure Development Corporation (DTIDC)
said, ANI reports.

Following discussions
with farmer leaders, the Delhi Police has finalised three routes for the tractor
rally. Both, the farmer leaders as well as the police, have vistted the routes,
Delhi CP S N Shrivastava said, ANI reported.

Dependra Pathak,
Special CP, Intelligence, Delhi Police stated that the rally will enter Delhi
from Tikri, Singhu and Ghazipur borders. All officers deployed for Republic Day
parade security were informed to be ready to move at short notice to maintain
law and order at the Kisan tractor rally, ANI reported.

The ‘Kisan Gantantra
Parade’ will be covering a distance of more than 100 kilometres, and will begin
only after the Republic Day parade culminates, PTI reported. Around one lakh
tractor-trolleys from all over India will take part in the parade as a sign of
solidarity.

The farmers’ protests entered
day 61 on Monday. The 11th round of talks between the farmers and
the Centre ended in a stalemate.
