Mahendra Singh Dhoni has always been on the top of the list and the %u2018captain cool%u2019 has broken several records on the pitch but this time, it is the record-breaking number of his followers on Instagram. 
After Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni has become the second International Cricketer to have crossed 30 million followers on the social networking site. 
Last year, on August 15, MS Dhoni posted a video of his journey in International Cricket announcing his retirement from the post. Under the video, he wrote, %u201CThanks. Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout. From 1929 hrs consider me as Retired.%u201D

Mahendra Singh Dhoni made his international debut back in 2004 and scored a total of 10,773 runs-the 11th highest tally in history- in 350 one-day matches. In his 16-year-long career, he played 90 Test matches and 98 T20 matches. 
He served as the captain of the Indian Cricket Team in Test cricket from 2008 to 2014 and the limited-over format of the game from 2007 to 2016.

He is succeeded by Virat Kohli who has 88.8 million followers on Instagram.
