Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell on Sunday took to Instagram to post a photo with fiance Vini Raman announcing that it has been one year since they got engaged. While Raman gave her adorable response in the comments section, it was a comment by Maxwell’s former Punjab Kings teammate Jimmy Neesham that stole the show.
Posting the same photo that he had posted almost a year back, Maxwell said, “1 year since I did the bravest lunge a person can do. Love you @vini.raman and can’t wait to get old and lazy with you.”
Raman, who is an Indian-origin pharmacist according to NDTV, replied to Maxwell saying, “You’re actually not that bad. @gmaxi_32 love you xxx.”
Stealing the limelight, Neesham asked, “You’re not old and lazy yet?” Neesham is known for his witty comments and tweets and this time, his comment got almost 1,500 likes.
This is however not the first time that the three have interacted on social media. While wishing Maxwell on his birthday back in October last year Raman wrote, “Happy birthday @gmaxi_32 aka my favourite fiance aka my only fiance aka BEST fiance ever. ps. i love you more than @jimmyneesham does.”
Both Maxwell and Neesham were released by Punjab Kings ahead of the recently conducted IPL mini auction during which, Maxwell was picked by Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 14.25 crore.
Neesham on the other hand was picked by defending champions Mumbai Indians.
