The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced the second list of six candidates contesting the upcoming Goa assembly elections. 

Rajesh Tulshidash Patnekar stands from Bicholim, Joseph Robert Sequeira from Calangute, and Antonio Fernandes from St Cruz. Cumbarjua will see Janita Pandurang Madkaikar contest the elections, while Narayan G Naik is the Cortalim candidate. Anthony Barbosa will stand from Curtorim.

The 40-seat assembly elections will see polling take place in a single phase on February 14. Votes will be counted and results declared on March 10. At the time of announcing their first list of 34 candidates, Devendra Fadnavis, who’s in charge of the Goa polls, said that BJP had ushered in a new era of development while maintaining stability.
