The Gold prices on Multi commodity exchange (MCX), marginally decreased on Thursday, October 21, 2021. The Gold futures were trading at Rs 47460.00 down 39 points or -0.08% per 10 gms in the Indian market. In global markets, gold was priced at 1,784.04 USD per Troy ounce. Platinum gained 0.43% to $1,057.50 while Palladium rose 0.22% to $2,080.00. Silver futures were trading at Rs 65585.00 down 22 points or -0.03% per Kg.

Gold 22 carat price in Delhi today is Rs 46,610 per 10 grams. The spot Gold rate in India today is Rs 46,480 for 22-carat gold per 10 grams. In the previous trade, the precious metal had settled at Rs 46,490 per 10 grams while the gold rate in Mumbai is Rs 46,480 per 10 gram of 22-carat, according to details provided by the good returns website.

Gold has struggled this year after hitting a record high of ₹56,200 last year amid a stronger US dollar and hopes of faster economic recovery amid vaccination drive.

Global equity markets also retreated today as investors grew increasingly concerned about a growing energy crisis and spiking inflation.

Meanwhile, Brent crude, the international oil benchmark, dropped 0.08 percent to USD 85.75 a barrel. In early trade, the rupee rose 3 paise to 74.85 against the US dollar. In early trade, the Sensex was up 265.84 points, or 0.43 percent, at 61,525.80. Likewise, the Nifty rose 93.45 points, or 0.51 percent, to 18,360.05.
