Kevin Pietersen, former England cricketer took to Twitter and penned down a heartwarming message for India, which is currently battling the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In Hindi, Pietersen wrote, “I may have left Indian shores, but I am still thinking about a country that has showered me with lots of love and affection.” He showed his affection by tweeting in Hindi. “Please stay safe. This too shall pass but you’ll have to be careful.”

Kevin Pietersen, a 40-year-old cricketer, was in India as a commentator for Indian Premier league 2021, which was suspended last week after some players and staff members tested positive for COVID-19.
This is not the first time Kevin Pietersen has shown concern over the devastating condition of India amid the COVID-19 crisis.
Earlier on May 4 he took to Twitter and wrote a message, “It’s heartbreaking to see a country I love so much suffering! You will get through this! you will be stronger coming out of this! Your kindness and generosity never goes unnoticed even during this crisis!”
