Indian Premier League 2021 is going to begin from April 9 with the eight teams that will go against each other in back to back matches for the prestigious trophy. Punjab Kings will also play their top game with world class players like KL Rahul, Chris Gayle, Mohammed Shami in the squad.
But the Kings have a new player this season who they are very excited about. Shahrukh Khan, no its not the Bollywood actor, but named after him, the player has represented Tamil Nadu cricket team in Ranji Trophy and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He was bought by Punjab Kings in the IPL 2021 auction.

The team shared a video on Sunday where the batsman was seen hitting the ball in power. The tweet read, “King Khan ‘pulling’ us towards him like.” Preity Zinta, co-owner of Punjab, in her meet at IPL auction with Shahrukh’s son Aryan Khan said, “we got Shahrukh,” and calling him King Khan won’t really surprise us after the fine pull shot he played while practicing.

Shahrukh Khan was bought in this year’s IPL auction for Rs 5.25 crore by the Kings after he scored big in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy earlier this year. They will play the first match of this season against Rajasthan Royals on April 12.
