The MTV Video Music Awards 2021 are back at New York City’s Barclays Center after a year of cancelled and online shows.
The biggest stars of the music video industry will be gracing the stage and all that fans can think of in the lead up to the big event is where, when and how to watch the big event.
The 2021 MTV Video Music Awards will happen on September 12 at 8 PM ET/PT and the show will air across MTV’s linear and digital platforms in 180 countries and territories.
The show will also be simultaneously broadcast on CMT, Comedy Central, Logo, MTV2, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, Pop, TV Land, VH1 and the CW.
The challenge, however, is how to watch the MTV VMAs 2021 without cable access.
A live stream to the VMAs will be available on Paramount+.
On the first sign up, the streaming service offers a free seven-day trial to new users, meaning the VMAs can be streamed for free.
Users will also have access to CBS shows, live news and NFL games in addition to the 2021 VMAs coverage.
Key performers to look out for at the 2021 MTV VMAs
The event’s 2021 edition will feature Alicia Keys with Swae Lee, Doja Cat, Ed Sheeran, Old Town Road-famed Lil Nas X, Good 4 U artist Olivia Rodrigo, Camila Cabello, Machine Gun Kelly, Jack Harlow, Shawn Mendes, Twenty One Pilots, Justin Bieber, The Kid LAROI, Foo Fighters and others ready to set the stage on fire.
While last year’s best new artist, Doja Cat, will host the 2021 VMAs, high-profile presenters like Conor McGregor, Halle Bailey, Travis Barker, Megan Fox, 50 Cent, Billie Eilish and more will be present.
