Actor Hrithik Roshan took his birthday celebration to a whole new level on Monday by sharing the first glimpse of his upcoming film, ‘Vikram Vedha’. The actor, who turned 48 today, took to his Instagram to share a still from the film. Captioning it with the title of his movie, the actor is seen sporting a rugged look, wearing a dark kurta and jean ensemble with a pair of Ray-bans.
Posted just three hours ago, the picture has amassed over 1.5 million likes and more than 21,000 comments on Instagram. Social media users poured in with thousands of birthday wishes on the post.
Others from the cast and crew also shared the still from the movie on their Instagram handles, including actor Rohit Saraf, Yogita Bihani, directors Pushkar-Gayatri, T-series Films, Friday Filmworks, Y Not Studios, and AP International Films.
‘Vikram Vedha’ is a Bollywood adaptation of the Tamil film that goes by the same title. The plot of the film revolves around a police officer who is on the hunt for a powerful crime lord. The title of the film is inspired by the classic Indian folktale of ‘Vikram aur Betaal’.

Vikram Vedha was first announced back in 2018, when Tamil directors Pushkar-Gayatri shared about directing the Hindi remake of the film.
The 2022 film will also star Saif Ali Khan, R Madhavan and Radhika Apte. ‘Vikram Vedha’ is produced by a collaboration between T-Series, Reliance Entertainment, Friday Filmworks and YNOT Studios.
The Hrithik Roshan-starrer is set to hit theatres on September 30, 2022.

Apart from sharing stills from his upcoming film on social media, Hrithik often shares snippets of his family, holiday trips, and brand endorsements. The 48-year-old actor has garnered over 40 million followers on Instagram. Just last week, a shirtless picture of him on a yacht had gone viral.
The ZNMD actor’s Instagram bio reads, “Man on mission- to live the best life possible come what may”.
