‘If you have any etiquette then apologise’: Mika Singh to Kangana Ranaut
- In a war of words on social media between Kangana Ranaut and Diljit Dosanjh, the Punjabi singer is getting support from some of his industry friends
- Mika Singh took to social media to ask Kangana to apologise
- Even Taapsee Pannu and Swara Bhasker came out in the open to support Dosanjh
Actor Kangana Ranaut got herself into another controversy after she misidentified an elderly woman at the farmers’ protest as ‘Shaheen Bagh dadi Bilkis Bano’ who will protest anywhere for ‘100 rupees’. Though, she later deleted the tweet but her action caught the eye of many celebrities who didn’t hesitate to question the “Queen” for her unverified facts.
On Thursday, popular Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh engaged in an ugly war of word with the actress and slammed her for her language used for the elderly woman.
Dosanjh’s step got thumbs up from his industry friends including actor Gippy Grewal and singer-actor Ammy Virk. Now singer Mika Singh too showed his anger on a controversial tweet posted by Kangana and asked her to apologise.
“I even tweeted in support when her office was demolished. I now think I was wrong, Kangana being a woman you should show the old lady some respect. If you have any etiquette then apologise. Shame on you..,” he wrote.
Apart from Mika, Bollywood actors Swara Bhasker and Taapsee Pannu too spoke about the issue.
When one of the Twitter users wrote that it took a Punjabi star to take a stand while Bollywood preferred to stay mum during these past tumultuous months, both these actresses reacted to it with social media posts refuting the claims.
"Not everyone kept Mum," wrote Swara, to which Taapsee replied, "That’s always been the problem here. Hum kuch mayeno mein "outsiders" hi rahenge na :) #AProudOutsider.
