Student organisations, Left leaders, Bhim Army and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday, took part in a protest at New Delhi’s Jantar Mantar demanding justice for the 19-year-old Dalit woman of Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras who died after being allegedly gang-raped.
Bhim Army Chief Chandrasekhar Azad, CPM General Secretary Sitaram Yechury, CPI leader D Raja and CPI(M) leader Brinda Karat joined the protests.
The Dalit woman was shifted to AIIMS, Delhi on Monday after her condition showed no signs of improvement and later was again shifted to Safdarjung Hospital.
Hundreds of people gathered at the protest site and demanded justice for the victim. Youth Congress members dressed as Mahatma Gandhi, also organised a demonstration at Jantar Mantar Road to protest.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that there should be no politics regarding the incident.
