After
a slew of injuries faced during the ongoing tour of Australia, currently
the Indian squad stands ahead of the fourth Test with limited options.

With prominent
names such as Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav, and KL Rahul already out of the
series due to injuries, India’s woes shot up during the third Test against
Australia, as one of the match-savers, Hanuma Vihari, pulled his hamstring
while running between the wickets in Sydney. The situation visibly got worse
after pacer Jasprit Bumrah suffered an abdominal strain, as per PTI.

Reportedly,
the scan reports of Bumrah displayed a strain, and chances of him not playing
are not almost certain, especially ahead of a four-test series against England
later this year.

A
broken thumb, on the third day, ruled out veteran all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja as
well, hollowing out a large section of the middle order.
