Mumbai Indians registered their second successive victory of the season with the Sunrisers Hyderabad bottling yet another run chase. Sunrisers openers David Warner and Jonny Bairstow started on the front foot, racing off the blocks to a 67-run opening stand, but ended up getting bundled out for 137 in 19.4 overs.
Earlier, Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Vijay Shankar took two wickets each to help the Sunrisers Hyderabad restrict Mumbai Indians to 150/5. Mujeeb dismissed Quinton de Kock and Ishan Kishan after Shankar removed skipper Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav.
Defending champions Mumbai are taking on the Sunrisers in match 9 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium.

In a first this season, Mumbai skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bat first.
The ‘Hitman’ confirmed a solitary change to his side from the win against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Tuesday, with New Zealand pacer Adam Milne replacing South Africa’s Marco Jansen.
On the other hand, SRH skipper David Warner made four changes to his side that is yet to win a single game this season. Youngsters Virat Singh and Abhishek Sharma are among the players brought in as SRH hope to turn the tide and get their first points of the season.

Mumbai will be looking to get consecutive victories under their belt, after beating KKR last time out. They were beaten by the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the opening game of the season.
Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderabad are yet to register a win in the IPL this season, after losing to KKR and RCB in their first two games.
