Royal Challengers Bangalore currently occupy the fourth place of the IPL 2022 points table with six wins in 11 games. The Sunrisers Hyderabad on the other hand are placed sixth with 10 points in as many games. The two sides will take on each other at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on Sunday. 

When SRH take on RCB, two leaders struggling for form, will be in focus. Kane Williamson and Virat Kohli. The two are yet to go big and consistent in IPL 2022. While the former has scored199 runs from 10 matches at an average of 22.11, the latter has 216 runs in 11 games at an average of 21.60. Their side’s need them to fire, especially in the business end of the tournament.

The last time the two sides met, Bangalore were dismissed for 68 runs. After securing a win against Faf du Plessis and co, SRH went on to register a five-match winning streak. Kane Williamson’s men come to this game after losing three.

They faced defeats against the Gujarat Titans, Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals. For Hyderabad, big concerns are Washington Sundar being re-injured in the last match and T Natarajan having to go out vs CSK with a niggle.  The duo subsequently missed the match against Delhi Capitals and the bowling unit struggled in its absence, going for over 200 runs. Pace sensation has been hit for about 100 runs in the last two games.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore come to this game with a 13-run win against CSK. Theur bowlers in Josh Hazlewood, Harshal Patel, Mohammed Siraj and Wanindu Hasarnaga have been firing.
