The Lucknow-New Delhi (82501/82502) Tejas
Express has been cancelled starting November 23, while the Ahmedabad-Mumbai
(82901/82902) will remain cancelled starting November 24.

The operation of the two trains were suspended
from March 19 this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, after which, on October 17 after a 7-month long break, the both routes had started functioning as
usual.

To ensure social distancing measures, IRCTC
had announced that every alternate seat on the train would be kept vacant. It
had further added that passengers would be thermally scanned before being
allowed access inside the compartment and once seated, would not get to change
seats.

IRCTC began the Lucknow-Delhi route on October 4, 2019 and the Ahmedabad-Mumbai route on January 19 this year.
