Mumbai Indians player Ishan Kishan on Saturday smashed 173 runs in 94 balls as Jharkhand posted the highest-ever total  of 422 runs in Vijay Hazare Trophy history. Despite such a performance, Kishan was snubbed for the Australia T20 series with Sanju Samson getting selected ahead of him.

Kishan, who leads Jharkhand in domestic cricket, has 2372 T20 runs at a strike rate of 133.48.

The 22-year-old made 33 off 20 deliveries in Mumbai’s IPL final against Delhi Capitals.
