Naor Gilon, the
Israeli ambassador to India’s words have gotten the fans of the hit web series
Fauda on their feet. He has indicated that one day he might bring one of show’s
actors on a tour of India which would give the fans an opportunity to meet one
of their favourite stars.

The title of the
series ‘Fauda’ can be loosely translated to ‘chaos’ in Arabic. The show’s viewers
get a number of genres rolled into a power packed show. It is a must watch for
lovers of action, serial dramas, psychological thrillers, political thrillers or
espionage thrillers.

The Israeli Ambassador
to India told a news agency ANI, “Happy
and surprised to see how popular ‘Fauda’ is in India. Hopefully we will be able
to bring one of the main actors of the show here. We are still working on it,”

He was surprised
to discover the show’s popularity in the country. The last season (season 3)
came out in April 2020 and since then the fans have been waiting for the series’
fourth instalment.

Hopefully the wait
won’t have to last too long as the makers revealed that the next season is ‘well
on its way’.

The series
developed by Lior Raz and Avi Issacharoff is based upon the experiences of the two
men in the Israel Defense Forces. It depicts the story of the Isreali-Palestinian
conflict by keeping both sides of the story in mind.

It is centred
around the life of Doron Kavillio, a retired member of an Israeli counter terrorism
team. He is forced to come out of retirement and embark on a search for Abu
Ahmed, who was the mastermind behind the deaths of a number of Israelis.

The main
characters of the show are Doron Kavillio portrayed by Lior Raz, Taufiq Hammed
portrayed by Hisham Sulliman, Walid Al Abed portrayed by Shadi Mar’I and Dr
Shirin Al Abed portrayed by Laetitia Eido among others.
