Following
Suryakumar Yadav’s 65 off 31 balls innings against West Indies in the third
T20I in Kolkata, England pacer Jofra Archer on Sunday shared a cryptic tweet on his Mumbai Indians teammate.

Hitting
seven sixes and a boundary, Suryakumar Yadav laced his blitzkrieg knock as he rescued India from 93 for 4 in 13.5 overs to 184/5 in 20 overs. He was ably
supported by Venkatesh Iyer’s 19-ball 35.

After
watching Suryakumar’s blitzkrieg knock, Archer took to Twitter to write, “This
boy can bat.”

West
Indies, in reply, lost wickets in regular intervals.

Apart
from Nicholas Pooran, who scored 61 off 47 balls, nobody could really give
India a fight. Rovman Powell (25) and Shepherd (29) tried to salvage their
chase but that was not enough for the visitors to win a match during West
Indies’s tour of India.

Harshal
Patel picked up three wickets giving away 22 runs in four overs while Deepak
Chahar and Shardul Thakur took two wickets each.

India
hence won the series 3-0 in Kolkata and hence become the No.1 ranked T20I team
on ICC charts.

Archer, earlier, said he is excited to join five-time champions Mumbai Indians and said that MI
have always been close to his heart as he always wanted to play for them.

Archer
was picked up by Mumbai Indians for Rs 8 crore on Day 2 of the IPL mega auction
in Bengaluru on Sunday. Although Archer won’t be available to play in the IPL
this season as he continues his recovery from injury.

Mumbai
Indians are looking at Archer being one of their legends in the space vacated
by Lasith Malinga and staying on for the next five to six years and ready to
sacrifice one year. Archer, however, will be missing IPL 2022 due to injury. He
will be available in IPL 2023.
