As soon as Bollywood BFFs Kareena Kapoor Khan and Amrita Arora tested positive for the coronavirus after attending an intimate party, others who were there rushed to be tested. Director and party host Karan Johar also tested twice, just to be sure. It turns out that Kareena’s domestic help has also tested positive today.

Seema Khan and Maheep Kapoor of the Netflix show “The Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives” have also tested positive after attending the dinner. Actors Alia Bhatt and Malaika Arora, who also attended the party, have tested negative.

Officials have tested nearly a hundred people residing in the buildings of these Bollywood celebrities, although all have tested negative. Officials have reached out to fashion designer Manish Malhotra, who had attended the party.

After being scrutinised and ridiculed for negligence by the authorities and social media users, Johar finally took to Instagram with a lengthy statement. He shared that he and his family have thankfully tested negative. The 49-year-old filmmaker cleared the air by adding that an 8-person gathering isn’t a party. He urged media persons to restrain themselves from “extreme reportage” as everyone at the party had taken necessary precautions.

Meanwhile, Kareena’s spokesperson said in a statement that a person at the party was coughing and didn’t look too well. The spokesperson added that the person is responsible for spreading the infection and should have been responsible enough to not attend the party. Although the name of the  individual has not been revealed, some reports suggest it was Seema Khan, wife of actor Sohail Khan.
