water drains.

incidents don’t repeat. I’m assuring a permanent solution… all encroachments

Civic
authorities have resumed cleansing operations in the city as waters started receding
with no rain since this morning.

Revenue
Minister R Ashoka, who also visited the affected areas earlier in the day, assured
that he will speak to the chief minister about providing relief to the
affected, while also directing officials to carry out survey work.

“Last
night itself NDRF team was called in, who rescued three people. Water and food
arrangements have been made for those in need,” he said.
