In a recent
episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), a contestant on the hotseat made waves
after she told Amitabh Bachchan, show host and Hindi cinema superstar, that she
is jealous of Bachchan’s daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The episode,
that airs on Tuesday, will see contestant Divya Sahai talk about this and other
predilections to Big B on the KBC stage.

In a promo of
Tuesday’s episode, Amitabh Bachchan asks contestant Divya Sahai if she watches
films. “Filmein hi dekhti hun main (all I do is watch movies,” she says adding
that she is quite jealous of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. “Mujhe aapki bahurani se
bohot jalan hoti hai (I am very jealous of your daughter-in-law), she tells Big
B.
When Bachchan asks
her to explain, she says, “100 saal mein koi itni khoobsurat paida hoti hai (It’s
only once in 100 years that a girl is born this beautiful.” Her remarks made
Amitabh Bachchan smile and he thanked her for the compliment.

Sahai further goes
on to say that she thinks she is anyway more beautiful than the other ‘heroines’
and she doesn’t know why she doesn’t get a chance. To which Amitabh Bachchan
jokingly replies, “kya pata deviji aisa kuch ho jaaye aajke baad toh…(you never
know it happens after today)”. Amitabh Bachchan’s comments left the contestant
blushing.

Crorepati, the extremely popular quiz show inspired by the American game show
Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, is in its 13th season in 2021. Monday’s
episode of the show saw rollover contestant Hansu Ravidas quitting the game after
winning Rs 6,40,000.

Meanwhile,
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the focus of the conversation on KBC was last seen
stealing the show at the Paris Fashion Week on Sunday. The 47-year-old actress
walked the ramp for the La Defile L’Oreal Paris 2021 womenswear spring/summer
2022 show.
