PUBG Corporation announced in the year 2019 that it will be expanding the beta testing of PUBG Lite for PC to more regions in South Asia and starting from 4 July, the game was made available in beta in India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, etc.
For India, an additional Hindi language option will also made available.
The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY), under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act, banned PUBG Mobile, PUBG Mobile Lite and 115 other Chinese apps in September in India this year.
Recently PUBG Corporation has announced that the game will soon be making a comeback to the Indian market as PUBG Mobile India. The reports said this could happen as early as Diwali but still no exact date of return has been revealed yet.
