Introducing fresh restriction
in view of surging cases of COVID-19 in Maharashtra, Chief Minister Uddhav
Thackeray on Sunday said that political, religious and social gatherings will
be prohibited in the state. Apart from this, night curfew will be imposed in
Pune from Monday, barring public movement from 11pm to 6 am.

Here’s a look at what’s allowed and what’s not in the state from Monday.

What’s not allowed?

1-Schools and Colleges will remain closed till 28 Feb in the district of Pune.

2- Political, religious and social gatherings will be prohibited in the state.

3- Markets and other establishments will remain shut in Amravati.

4- Swimming pools and indoor games will also be nonoperational in the state. 

5- Coaching classes in Yavatmal district will remain closed till February 28

What’s allowed?

1- Public transportation will not be impacted.

2- Essential services will remain unaffected in Amravati.

3-  Hotels and restaurants, would stay open only till 8 pm on weekdays in Amravati.

4- Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) will remain fully operational.

Key targets of weekend restrictions are districts such as Nashik, Nagpur, Wardha, Yavatmal, Amravati, Akola and Buldhana.
