West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee led a rigorous campaign against an all-in BJP. Banerjee is in a neck-and-neck fight against Ex-TMC minister and BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari for Nandigram constituency. In early trends, she was trailing against Adhikari.

Mamata left the Bhabhanipur constituency in Kolkata and chose to fight from Nandigram. Both Mamata and Adhikari led an aggressive campaign against each other.

In the high stakes West Bengal assembly elections, both the Trinamool Congress and the BJP went all-in against each other to get the hold of the state. Suvendu Adhikari is from East Medinipur and has a stronghold in Nandigram.
