A man
wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) kit on Wednesday robbed 25 kg of gold
jewellry worth 13 crore from a showroom in Kalkaji area of south-east Delhi,
reports ANI.

CCTV
footage from the shop shows the burglar sneaking into the premises at around 2
in the morning and taking hold of the gold jewellery from the showcases and
cupboards within.

The
thief, reportedly identified as Mohammed
Shaikh Noor, jumped from the terrace of the adjacent building, said a police
official.

According to media reports, five armed guards
were on duty at the jewellery shop on the night of the incident.

The
accused has been taken into custody and further investigation is underway,
reported NDTV

In a
similarly bizarre incident reported from Maharashtra in July last year, Burglars
broke into a jewellery shop in Satara district wearing personal protective
equipment (PPE) and robbed around 780 gm gold.
