Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle will release her first children’s book based on the relationship between Prince Harry and their son, Archie, Random House Children’s Books announced. 

Award-winning illustrator Christian Robinson will illustrate and the audiobook will be narrated by Meghan. Last Tuesday, Random House Children’s Books announced that the book titled ‘The Bench’ will be released on June 8.

According to the publishing house’s announcing the release, the book will also feature various other stories of fathers and sons and the little moments they share. The book is the result of a poem, which Meghan wrote for Prince Harry on their first Fathers day. Meghan said, “that poem became this story”, she said in the book’s press release, quoted Elle.com.

 “Christian layered in beautiful and ethereal watercolor illustrations that capture the warmth, joy, and comfort of the relationship between fathers and sons from all walks of life; this representation was particularly important to me, and Christian and I worked closely to depict this special bond through an inclusive lens”, Meghan added.

Meghan and Harry, stepped away from their royal duties in early 2020, after which they announced many projects and this book is a part of their several projects. Meghan, formerly known as Meghan Markle, narrated the Disney film, “Elephant” and has a deal with Netflix.
