A mild earthquake of of magnitude
4.2 jolted Kargil area of Ladakh late Tuesday, India’s National Center for
Seismology confirmed.
According
to the agency, the epicenter of the earthquake was 167 km north (N) of Kargil, Ladakh, India.
The
tremors were felt at 11:04 PM IST at a depth of 10 km from the surface.
No immediate damage or causality was reported.
