Actor Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter on Friday to congratulate his Caribbean Premier League (CPL) franchise Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) as they registered their fifth consecutive win, beating Guyana Amazon Warriors by seven wickets. TKR are yet to lose a match this season.

In his tweet, Shah Rukh said he missed singing and dancing in the stands and congratulated the entire team and coach Brendon McCullum while mentioning Tim Seifert, who scored the winning runs for TKR.

“Was wonderful to see the boys do so well….again. @Bazmccullum looking good. Miss the dancing and singing in the stands but the cheerleader ladies still doing their bit is sweet. Well done team @TKRiders good one Seifert,” Khan said.

The CPL is the first domestic T20 league to start following the coronavirus pandemic suspensions and is being played behind closed doors across two venues in Trinidad and Tobago in a bio-secure environment.

TKR are currently on top of the points table with 10 points from five games and will next face Barbados Tridents on August 29.
