A doctor from Mumbai died on Monday of COVID-19 a day after she posted a goodbye message on Facebook. “May be last Good Morning, I may not meet you here on”, said the 51-year-old in the post. Her name was Dr Manisha Jadhav, a senior medical officer at Sewri TB Hospital.

Jadhav posted the message on Sunday, a day before her death, reported the Times of India. Several doctors have contracted coronavirus, and as many as 168 have died due to COVID-19. According to Indian Medical Association (IMA), as many as 18,000 doctors in Maharashtra have been infected by the virus.

Manisha Jadhav’s Facebook post read, “May be last Good Morning. I may not meet you here on this platform. Take care all. Body die. Soul doesnt. Soul is immortal.” The post has garnered around 3,300 reactions and 1400 comments. “It’s very sad.. I have No words for it…”, read one of the comments to the post. “U r a true warrior, society is indebted for your contribution.RIP”, read another comment.
