The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) raided filmmaker Imtiaz Khatri’s home and office in Mumbai’s Bandra area as part of its probe into the drug seizure case that has led to the arrest of several people including Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan.
The NCB conducted the raids after Khatri’s name came up during the interrogation of Achit Kumar, who was arrested earlier this week from suburban Powai for possession of “hydroponic weed alias multi-strain cannabis.”

Khatri has been previously accused of supplying drugs to Sushant Singh Rajput, whose death by suicide triggered a multiple-agency probe into the alleged widespread use of drugs in Bollywood.

Aryan and the other accused were arrested by NCB following a drug bust on a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. An unnamed NCB official quoted by news agency PTI said said the drugs were found hidden in clothes, underwear and purses.
