TV Czarine Ekta Kapoor, who was the producer of late actor Sushant
Singh Rajput’s TV show “Pavitra Rishta” has started a Mental Wellness fund in
association with Tarun Katial, the CEO of Zee5 India. Named as Pavitra Rishta
Fund, the idea behind the initiative is to spread mental health awareness among
people. However, netizens are not happy.

The
actor’s fans took to social media to troll the producer for using the Sushant’s
name and face for mental health awareness initiative with hashtag
#ShameonEktaKapoor. The fund later dropped the actor’s image from its logo
after the backlash.

It has been said that the actor was getting treatment for
depression. However, there has been no such confirmation by the investigative
agencies that are looking into the case.

In “Pavitra Rishta”, Sushant played the lead character named
Manav Deshmukh and gained huge appreciation. The show also had Ankita Lokhande,
his ex-girlfriend, as a female lead.
